In 2005, the Police Unity Tour pledged $5 million to build the National Law Enforcement Museum. Having met that pledge in 2009, the Tour continues to raise funds for the maintenance of the Memorial and to support specific projects for the Museum. In May of 2013, the Tour donated 1.72 million dollars to the National Law Enforcement Officer's Memorial Fund, bringing the total donations since 1996 to nearly 14 million dollars.

Continuing with this important effort, each participant in the 2014 Police Unity Tour must raise a minimum of $1750 in donations.
